The Community Foundation team makes it easy for you or a community group to establish a fund for a special project or cause. Recent examples include funds to underwrite Greensboro’s Bicentennial celebration and to support the rebuilding of Eastern Guilford High School after a devastating fire.

If you choose, your gift can become part of the Foundation’s Community Grantmaking Endowment – helping us address ever-changing local needs both now and into the future. With expert guidance from the Foundation staff, our Board of Directors makes grants that support all aspects of community well-being – including arts and culture, economic development, education, environment, health and human services, neighborhood revitalization, and more.
