For Grant Seekers

The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro believes philanthropy can play an important role in improving the quality of life and in helping to build an inclusive, caring and vibrant community. Through gifts our donors make that are unrestricted or targeted to a specific field of interest, we are able to fund dozens of community initiatives each year that are helping us make a difference. For information regarding our different grantmaking programs, please click here.

Many nonprofits seek advice regarding obtaining funding. Two organizations in Guilford County, The Guilford Nonprofit Consortium and the Nonprofit Resource Center at the Central Branch of the Greensboro Public Library,  provide outstanding information regarding general grant seeking advice.

In addition to local organzations, the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits and the Foundation Center also offer valuable information to grantseekers.
