Alamance Foundation Grants Committee met to distribute this year’s grant payout.

The Grants Committee of the Alamance Foundation met to distribute this year’s grant payout. Local nonprofits that will benefit from the Foundation’s grant pool are Loaves and Fishes, Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club and Positive Attitude. Grant funds are available from the MacKenzie Fund at the Foundation and from the organization’s Community Grant Fund.

In May, the Foundation hosted an event at Elon University’s School of Business to update fundholders on the Foundation’s activities, as well as introduce the Foundation to prospective fundholders and donors. Trust Company of the South hosted a reception afterward for attendees.
