What do you get when you put together 10 enthusiastic people, $100 and a BIG idea? 10 Creative Philanthropists!
That's right: All it takes is your time and talent to become an overnight philanthropist. In honor of our 25th anniversary, the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro is inviting up to 25 teams of 10 people to take a $100 seed grant and turn it into as much money as possible. At the end of the contest, help choose the community interest areas that will be funded. This is a contest encouraging both creativity and financial results. Teams will be featured both on our website and in the media.
Winners receive a "Taste of Philanthropy" and a "Tasty Dinner"! Winners decide where the money raised will go to help our community by selecting from among the Community Foundation's permanent endowments. By donating the money raised to a permanent endowment at the Community Foundation, your time and talent will make a lasting impact in Greensboro.
Celebrate your team's success by dining together. Up to three winning teams will receive a dinner at Bistro Sofia, the Community Foundation's philanthropy partner.
