Established in 1997 to honor the memory of York David Anthony, this scholarship provides financial assistance to seniors graduating from Guilford County high schools who will pursue a degree in electrical engineering or electronics. The award is for $2500 and is renewable for up to four years if recipient has maintained a 3.0 grade average. Application information and deadline date will be posted at a later date.

The Y-Bler Buonya Memorial Scholarship was established in June 2004 to honor the memory of Y-Bler Buonya who passed away in December of 1997 at the age of twenty-two. This scholarship will be awarded to students residing in North Carolina who are active in advancing the interests of the Montagnard people. Candidates will be nominated by the teachers at Page High School on the basis of the following criteria: college bound; possess strong moral character; respected by peers and teachers; well-rounded and strong scholastic aptitude. THE WILLIAM BRYANT EVANS AND LUCY TEAGUE EVANS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP was established in 1994 through the will of Marjorie Evans Doggett in memory of her parents, who lived in McLeansville. Priority is given to those who live in the McLeansville area with preference given to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in science or the humanities. The applicant must also demonstrate financial need and academic achievement. The $1000 scholarships are renewable if the recipient maintains a cumulative grade point average of 2.75. The membership of CPN of North Carolina has established a scholarship award to assist in the education of the future leaders of the construction industry and to create an alliance between CPN and the North Carolina institutions that provide construction industry education. In 2008, up to three qualified North Carolina students will each receive a one-time $2000 scholarship award. In addition, the recipient receives a complimentary one-year membership in CPN of North Carolina. For the 2008 CPN Scholarship, candidate must be registered as a full time student at one of the following universities: Western Carolina, North Carolina State University or UNC-Charlotte.

The Nicholas Samuel Fragola Art Scholarship at Grimsley High School was established in July 2003 to honor the memory of Nicholas, an award winning artist who attended Grimsley. The Greensboro Housing Authority ROAD TO SUCCESS Scholarship Fund established in 2004 provides financial aid to youth who reside in Greensboro Housing Authority Communities. Established in 2004 by Jim and Judy Guidone of Greensboro to honor the memory of his parents in the parents’ hometown of Jeannette, Pennsylvania. This scholarship is open to Jeannette Senior High School seniors and provides a total of $10,000, payable at $2,500 per year for four years provided student is in good standing. The Wolfgang Häfele Memorial Scholarship is an academic scholarship established by Häfele America Co. to honor the memory of Wolfgang Häfele. The scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors who are dependent children of full-time employees of Häfele America Co. The Camberly Noel Holliday Performing Arts Scholarship was created to honor the memory of the short but full life of Camberly Noel Holliday, December 18, 1987 – July 29, 2002. This scholarship is open to current or rising 7th through 12th grader who lives in one of the 12 counties of North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad, exemplify a passion for a discipline within the performing arts and have a minimum of two years experience in a discipline within the performing arts. The Libby Hill Seafood Scholarship program was established to provide financial assistance to employees of Libby Hill Seafood who wish to further their education. All Libby Hill Seafood employees who have been employed by the company for at least one full year at the time of their application are eligible for this scholarship. Full and part time assistance will be awarded through this scholarship. Past recipients will be eligible, and are encouraged to reapply for this scholarship on a yearly basis.
