Community Partnerships

The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro is a charitable organization dedicated to strengthening the community for present and future generations.
The Community Foundation promotes philanthropy, builds and maintains a permanent collection of endowment funds, and serves as a trustworthy partner and leader in shaping effective responses to community issues and opportunities.

To fulfill this mission, the Community Foundation actively seeks partnerships with local corporations, private foundations, nonprofit, government, and community groups to leverage its resources for maximum impact. The Foundation has five distinct strategic priorities when pursuing community partnerships:

• Identify and address the housing issues in Greensboro.
• Provide support for the community’s role in education.
• Support the continued revitalization of the community with an emphasis on creativity, entrepreneurism and job creation.
• Mobilize our community toward addressing diversity and race relations in Greensboro.
• Promote regionalism among our neighboring counties
