About the Future Fund
The Future Fund, an initiative of The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, convenes and connects young professionals who are committed to making their community a better place. Founded in 1999, the Future Fund nurtures philanthropic leadership through grant making and the development of a permanent endowment. More than 200 members share a commitment to Greensboro and an interest in charitable involvement. The Future Fund capitalizes on each member’s creativity and passion to impact the greater Greensboro community positively.
FUTURE FUND GRANT MAKING GUIDELINES
The Future Fund grants committee is currently determining the focus for 2018. More information will be provided on the 2018 grant season as soon as it is available.
Future Fund recommends organizations to submit funding requests between $2,500 and $7,500. Stay tuned for our next round of grant making applications!
Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in or serving the greater Greensboro area. The Future Fund does not award grants for multi-year commitments, individuals, debt retirement, political organizations or campaigns, for-profit entities, programming that promotes religious instruction or doctrine, or endowments.
